Battle of Massard Prairie Interpretive Program

The Fort Smith Museum of History will present an interpretive program on Saturday, July 25, 2009, commemorating the Civil War Battle of Massard Prairie which was fought on July 27, 1864 in Fort Smith. Hands-on activities will be available for children as well as an informative program on the battle suitable for all ages. The presentations will be held at the museum at 11:00 a. m. and 2:00 and 4:00 p. m.
