The Best Party in Town!

The Fort Smith Museum of History will kick off a year of Centennial Celebrations with Mardi Gras 2010, February 12, 6:00 pm, IC Parish Hall, North A and 13th Street. 

Mardi Gras, a fun and casual midwinter party, is the largesst annual fundraiser for the museum.  The evening opens with cocktails at 6:00 pm, a Cajun dinner at 7:00 followed by a live auction with auctioneer Doug Schwartz featuring fabulous trips and parties awarded to the highest bidder.  MC Darren Bobb keeps things exciting along with a New Orleans style line band. 

After dinner dance to the music of "Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screamin' Radishes, a Mardi Gras tradition.

For only $10 purchase a chance to win a $2,000 shopping spree from Newton's Jewelers. 

Tax deductible contributions may be made to the candidate of your choice for Mardi Gras King and Queen with the winner raising the most money for the museum. 

Tickets are $50 per person or $500 for a table of ten.  Preminum tables sell for $600.
